About us The marine group within the Materials and production division is looking for a senior project manager who wants to lead and develop the marine field together with us. Activities within the division today focus on helping the marine material sector to transit into a more sustainable and resilient future. We focus on the environmental impact on and by materials in the marine environment, conduct research and assignments on the impact of the environment on the materials and the impact of the materials on the marine environment. Examples and research questions are materials for offshore renewable energy, multi-load degradation, release of biocides and microplastics, advanced material analysis, materials from the sea etc. If you want to be part of our development together with the industry, this is the assignment for you.

About the role The main focus for this role will be to lead the establishment of a marine research and innovation center at the Kristineberg Center in Fiskebäckskil. In this position you will, together with colleagues, define, plan and execute a marine strategy, involving broad, internal and external collaboration. In addition to strategy work and leadership, the position involves project management, business creation and collaboration with colleagues in writing applications for public funded projects. The role also includes maintaining and building existing networks within the industry and the public sector, with a focus on initiating projects and other activities as well as building consortia.

Who are you? You have experience in strategic work and in developing new business areas. You are driven by business development and interdisciplinary collaboration. You have a university degree and experience in the marine field. You have experience of working for or collaborating with industrial partners and understanding their needs. To succeed in the role, you need to be communicative (both in Swedish and English), a good listener, and enterprising.
