Roles and responsibilities

We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader and operator who thrives in uncertainty and is okay being hands-on. Our Head of Finance and Operations will drive financial discipline, operational excellence, and strategic clarity as we scale Lovable from early product-market fit to the next stage of growth. You’ll lead and build foundational capabilities across:

Priority functions

• Finance: Establish financial discipline through budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Legal: Oversee legal and compliance, working with external counsel to keep us protected and agile (with external counsel support)
• Investor Relations: Run investor relations, ensuring our backers are informed and confident
• Drive cross-functional alignment, partnering with the CEO and leadership on strategy, goals, and priorities
• Build operational systems that support everything from onboarding to vendor management

Other functions

• Procurement partnerships: Evaluate and support strategic partnerships, commercial deals, and channel relationships
• Strategy & BizOps: Partner with the CEO and leadership team on company strategy, goal-setting, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment
• Data & Analytics: Build dashboards, track metrics, and ensure data-driven decision-making across the org
• Admin & Operations: Help keep the trains running—everything from tooling to real estate and company rituals
• Founder Enablement: Keep the CEO and leadership team operating at peak leverage by anticipating needs, structuring ambiguity, and moving blockers.

What we’re looking for

• Broad professional network in Silicon Valley and technology industry including founders, operators and investors at key partners such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Stripe
• 20+ years of professional experience in finance and technology
• 11+ years at a decacorn startup (~$10B valuation), leading various functions including finance and business operations, HR, legal, data & analytics, investor relations, partnerships, corporate development and strategy over time
• Scaled businesses from startup phase / $1M ARR to scaled operations / $1B ARR across multiple product lines
• Oversaw strategic and operational planning for 1,500+ employees
• Led 5+ M&A deals and 30+ partnerships
• Managed teams of up to 80 people in reporting line
• Former startup founder, with experience working across multiple cultures in diverse, global teams
• 5+ years in investment banking and private equity
• Based in or willing to relocate to Stockholm
