Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design, develop and maintain data platforms and governance frameworks with a strong focus on Databricks
• Drive improvements of the Databricks platform setup to ensure scalable, robust and secure data pipelines
• Design and implement governance models, catalogues and metadata management to ensure compliance and high data quality
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for Databricks and related cloud services, enabling automated, reliable and reproducible environments
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists and business stakeholders to translate requirements into governed, production-ready data products

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or equivalent work experience in a relevant industry
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tools
• Deep expertise in Databricks platform, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and Databricks internals
• Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS
• Strong background in modelling structured and unstructured data
• Ability to work on-site in Södertälje at least two days per week
