We currently have two permanent, full-time positions available at the surgical and medical ward at Odda Hospital. You'll be working in a multidisciplinary environment alongside doctors, physiotherapists, and other dedicated colleagues.
Our ward has 9 hospital beds and 2 municipal emergency beds. You'll gain broad experience and become confident across several areas of nursing. We admit patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including pulmonary disease, infections, cardiac conditions, palliative care, and various surgical cases.

Work tasks include:
Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care
Perform clinical procedures, assessments, and documentation
Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Coordinate discharges and work closely with municipal health services
Supervise and support nursing students and new colleagues
Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Qualifications
Valid nursing authorization in Norway
Experience from medical or surgical wards is an advantage (but not required - we'll train you!)
Non-Nordic applicants must provide documentation of minimum B2 level Norwegian proficiency
Good communication and teamwork skills
Able to work independently and prioritize in a dynamic environment
