Your role

Your day-to-day could include:
* Designing, maintaining, and optimizing a mix of on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.
* Supporting secure and scalable server environments (Linux/Windows).
* Implementing automation tools and practices to streamline operations and reduce repetitive tasks.
* Contributing to containerized application deployment and orchestration.
* Collaborating closely with development and DevOps teams to improve performance and deployment workflows.
* Ensuring high availability, reliability, and system security through proactive monitoring and patching.
* Managing licenses and compliance for third-party software.
* Participating in infrastructure support through an on-call rotation.

Your profile

We believe you'll thrive if you have:
* A few years (2-5) of experience in a system engineering or similar role.
* Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
* Hands-on experience with server environments (Linux and/or Windows).
* Familiarity with Azure cloud platform.
* Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
* An understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
* A structured and proactive approach to troubleshooting and system monitoring.
* An interest in secure, sustainable system design and continuous improvement.

A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.

You will be a part of Saab's Public Safety Solutions business unit where we develop and deploy Command, Control and Communication software solutions used by police forces, ambulance services, fire and rescue services, airports and public transport agencies. Our software applications help these organisations to manage critical incidents, respond to people in distress and ultimately help make people and society safer.
We develop market leading software solutions which are critical for our customer's operations, so the focus is on configurability, functionality, performance and reliability.
