Ericsson AB Join our Team About this opportunity: We’re looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our international team working on a high-performance Online Charging System (OCS). This role involves leading backend development, driving innovation with Java, and AI tools, and mentoring team members in an agile environment. What you will do: •    Design and develop scalable backend services in Java. •    Lead features based on 3GPP Policy Control (Diameter, 5G REST). •    Collaborate with global teams to deliver product increments. •    Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. •    Mentor junior developers and promote best practices. •    Support AI and DevOps tool adoption (e.g., Amazon Q, Copilot, Kubernetes). The skills you bring: •    5+ years in backend development with Java  •    Experience with telecom protocols (Diameter, 5G REST). •    Strong skills in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus). •    Proficient with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Maven. •    Agile mindset; experience working in Scrum teams.
