We are now looking for a Global Sales Engineer to join us at our HQ in Lund, Sweden!
Who is your future team?
Our vision is to contribute to a smarter and safer world by providing market leading end-to-end (E2E) surveillance solutions (https://www.axis.com/solutions/axis-end-to-end-solutions-for-surveillance). Our E2E solutions are built around our own video management solutions, AXIS Camera Station Pro and AXIS Camera Station Edge, but the functionality extends beyond that.
The End-to-End Solutions team has global product management responsibility for Axis End-to-End Solutions for Surveillance. The team consists of product managers, product specialists and other roles that together manage the entire life cycle of our solutions - from strategic planning to tactical activities, go to market, and maintenance. We are looking for an Global Sales Engineer with a focus on E2E Integration to join the team.
What you'll do here as an Global Sales Engineer?
As an Global Sales Engineer in the End-to-End Solutions Knowledge Management team you will work in a small but engaged team who have solution knowledge associated with the AXIS Camera Station Solution. This role will specifically have a focus on partners developing solutions that are integrated using our API. The main responsibilities are:
-Maintain the network of development partners which includes vetting and gatekeeping access to the API.
-Understand the partners use case and based on these propose how to integrate with the End-to-End Solutions.
-Be responsible for developing and making available documentation used to help partners understand how to integrate our solutions.
-Be the interface to R&D regarding API development and support.
- Be the main responsible person when assisting the Regional Sales Engineers in E2E integration projects.
Expectations on the Integration Specialist for E2E
The Integration Specialist for E2E is expected to build the deepest technical competence associated with the API used to integrate the solution.
You will be expected to contribute with expert knowledge in all phases of the sales and support cycle. The main focus is in pre-sales phases when partners/end-customers are developing integrations to the E2E solutions but you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with strategic development partners. You will also be expected to give feedback to R&D how APIs are used by partners and what documentation that is needed.
You will act proactively as a technical expert, sharing knowledge and supporting different functions in the organization. With this expertise you will develop documentation, training, presentations and similar material when appropriate.
Who are we looking for?
You have a technical interest and natural system solution thinking. You have good communication and networking skills and are senior enough to be comfortable in taking decisions. You are also business oriented and have a good understanding of project sales cycle.
You have relevant (Bachelor's or Master's) degree or similar and more than 5 years' experience within system engineering and at least some years with customer relations. It is of great value if you have technical knowledge and experience from working with Axis video management systems, Windows OS, virtualization, cloud solutions and computer networks. You also have documented work with system solutions close to end customers.
You have social skills and the ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment where you collaborate with remote colleagues. You enjoy a high pace, comfortable with having multiple activities going on in parallel and context switching. You are always open to customers and colleagues, contributing to a good team spirit and a productive environment. Furthermore, we believe you have:
-A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters
-An excellent understanding of Axis' products and services.
-Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
-Swedish language skills: not essential, but a distinct advantage
