Role Summary

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team within cable harness development for electrified trucks. In this role, you will grow your leadership skills and help shape the future of sustainable transport. You will lead an agile team responsible for low-voltage cable harnesses unique to battery electric trucks, covering both circuit diagrams and 3D design. The scope includes maintaining current products and developing future solutions for all TRATON brands.

This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.

Job Responsibilities

As Product Owner, you will be the driving force behind your team’s technical direction and delivery. You’ll balance stakeholder needs with business goals, ensuring that every step of development adds value for our customers and supports the electrification roadmap.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Define and prioritize technical goals, bridging engineering needs with business strategy
• Develop and maintain the team’s product roadmap
• Lead agile development efforts with a focus on incremental customer value
• Collaborate with other Product Owners and Product Managers to align on electrification strategy
• Work with requirements and property targets
• Manage stakeholder communication and motivate the team through challenges
• Partner with the Scrum Master to support coaching, risk management, and continuous improvement

Who You Are

You are a natural leader with a passion for solving complex challenges and driving the electrification journey forward. You thrive in dynamic environments, communicate effectively, and inspire others even when navigating tough decisions.

We believe you have:

• At least 5 years’ experience in cable harness, installation, or mechanical design – preferably within the automotive industry
• Technical expertise in cable harness or installation
• Proven leadership experience and a strategic mindset
• A university degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, product development, or similar
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
