Role: Hardware Engineer – Electronics & PCB Design

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Hardware Engineer with strong expertise in electronics design and PCB development. In this role, you will design, develop, and verify advanced electronic systems, ensuring high performance, safety, and reliability in demanding applications. You will collaborate in an international, agile environment, leading technical sub-projects and contributing to innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.

• Contribute to system design with a focus on power electronics and thermal management.
• 
  
• Integrate electronic systems into mechanical enclosures with forced convection cooling.
• 
  
• Perform lab testing, prototype verification, and troubleshooting.
• 
  
• Work with high-voltage systems (400 VAC and above) safely and effectively.
• 
  
• Lead and coordinate technical sub-projects in an international agile team.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and design standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Altium Designer and PCB layout.
• 
  
• Strong background in electronics design.
• 
  
• Experience in power electronics and thermal management.
• 
  
• Hands-on experience with lab testing and prototype verification.
• 
  
• Experience working with 400 VAC or higher voltages.
• 
  
• Ability to lead technical sub-projects in an international, cross-functional setup.
• 
  
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English and Swedish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ansys CFD simulations for thermal analysis.
• 
  
• Electrical competency authorization level 3 (or equivalent experience) for laboratory work with systems operating below 1 kV.
