About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support the development of our new factory with a strong focus on automated assembly. You will play a key role in shaping automation strategies, working hands-on with production engineering, and collaborating with suppliers to deliver efficient, modern production flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive automation initiatives from concept through commissioning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within production engineering to design and implement automated assembly solutions.
• 
  
• Lead technical discussions with suppliers and manage technical aspects of major automation projects.
• 
  
• Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of automation equipment.
• 
  
• Optimize assembly lines and production flows to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• 
  
• Support troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and ramp-up of new production systems.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in automating assembly lines and optimizing production flows.
• 
  
• Strong background in technical project management and supplier coordination.
• 
  
• Hands-on experience in procurement and commissioning of automation equipment.
• 
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to building a new factory setup.
• 
  
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• 
  
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Meritorious

• Experience in building new production environments from scratch.
• 
  
• Previous work with European suppliers.
