About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support the development of our new factory with a strong focus on automated assembly.
You will play a key role in shaping automation strategies, working hands-on with production engineering, and collaborating with suppliers to deliver efficient, modern production flows.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive automation initiatives from concept through commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within production engineering to design and implement automated assembly solutions.
- Lead technical discussions with suppliers and manage technical aspects of major automation projects.
- Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of automation equipment.
- Optimize assembly lines and production flows to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Support troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and ramp-up of new production systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in automating assembly lines and optimizing production flows.
- Strong background in technical project management and supplier coordination.
- Hands-on experience in procurement and commissioning of automation equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to building a new factory setup.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.

- Experience in building new production environments from scratch.
- Previous work with European suppliers.
