Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Conduct early analysis and interpretation of customer and internal requirements, including direct communication with the customer
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of requirements and functional descriptions across functional areas
• Perform analyses and feasibility studies in the early stages of projects, documenting findings and recommendations
• Validate that proposed support solutions are feasible, sustainable, and aligned with customer needs and requirements
• Contribute to the development of complex technical systems with high reliability and long-term sustainability
• Engage in projects from concept through to finished product, working with advanced technology in a global environment
• Collaborate across teams and functions, driving continuous improvements and innovative solutions

What you bring:

• Degree in civil engineering, engineering, or another relevant technical field
• Experience as a requirements analyst or technical project manager in systems with high demands on availability and security
• Strong understanding of requirements management and its role in successful development projects
• Ability to work independently with strong personal drive, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in both Swedish and English

Meritorious qualifications include:

• Knowledge of Systems Engineering methods according to ISO/IEC 15288 or 29110
• Familiarity with ASD/AIA S-series Specifications
• Domain knowledge in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
• Military background or defense industry experience
• Experience in verification and validation processes

Location:

• The role is based in Örnsköldsvik, with the possibility of partial remote work from Stockholm
