We will now expand our team with a Process Risk Assessment Specialist.

Your Future Work at DREV

In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with process changes and system integration throughout all phases of our projects. Your work ensures that safety, efficiency, and compliance are maintained while supporting the advancement of innovative contamination control solutions for the battery value chain.

Daily tasks involve evaluating the probability and impact of process-related risks, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather critical insights, and translating findings into actionable mitigation strategies. You will contribute directly to design and feasibility studies, shaping safe, robust, and cost-effective outcomes.

This role requires both analytical depth and practical problem-solving, balancing technical risk evaluation with collaboration across engineering, project, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed process owner risk assessments during the Basic Design Phase.
• Analyze the probability and impact of potential process changes on operations, safety, and compliance.
• Identify critical control points and areas of vulnerability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect input from Project Initiation and Conceptual Design phases.
• Engage with equipment vendors and process engineers to evaluate system capabilities and limitations.
• Develop proposals for process and value chain changes to reduce identified risks.
• Recommend safety measures, engineering controls, and operational improvements.
• Document risk assessments, mitigations, and expected outcomes in clear and structured reports.
• Contribute risk-related insights and cost estimation data to support the next design phase.
• Participate in feasibility studies to validate safety, operational, and budgetary compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in process risk assessment, process safety, or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of risk analysis methodologies
• Familiarity with process safety regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• Experience working in cross-functional, technical project environments.
