Role: IT Business Analyst – MDP (IFRS 9)

Location: Stockholm, SE (25% remote)

Assignment Period: 1 Sep 2025 – 28 Feb 2026

Overview

We are seeking two IT Business Analysts with strong data analysis skills to support our client in the financial industry on IFRS 9–related projects. The ideal candidates will combine deep technical expertise in data handling with the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced data analysis using SQL (experience with SAS or Python is a strong plus).
• 
  
• Work with large, complex datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• 
  
• Understand and translate business terminology and requirements into clear technical specifications.
• 
  
• Independently transform business requirements into high-level and low-level solution designs.
• 
  
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure alignment throughout the development process.
• 
  
• Support Unit Testing (UT), System Testing (ST), and end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• 
  
• Create functional test cases, validate test results, and ensure solution quality.
• 
  
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address both technical and functional challenges.
• 
  
• Work in an agile environment, contributing to continuous improvement and team success.

Preferred Functional Knowledge

• Background in Credit Risk processes and regulations (particularly IFRS 9) is highly advantageous.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of IT experience.
• 
  
• Minimum 4 years as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• 
  
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• 
  
• Experience in Python (and/or SAS is a plus).
• 
  
• Proven ability to work with large datasets.
• 
  
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical teams and business stakeholders.
