Overview
This role combines operational buying responsibilities with strategic coordination to support the global buyer community in navigating evolving trade regulations and sustainability requirements.
You will act as the purchasing interface towards projects and suppliers within your segment, ensuring that project QDCFTSR (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, Risk Management) targets are met and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a central point of contact for trade and sustainability-related purchasing topics.
- Support and align commercial buyers across all portfolios.
- Drive initiatives to ensure compliance with:
- Tariffs and trade regulations (e.g., U.S. tariffs, global trade shifts)
- Deforestation regulations
- Emerging sustainability requirements from global regions
- Other evolving environmental and regulatory frameworks
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to implement best practices and standardized processes.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on procurement strategies.
- Act as the primary interface between purchasing, projects, and suppliers during the project phase.
Who You Are
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, project coordination, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sustainability and regulatory compliance.
- Structured, communicative, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
- A team player who enjoys driving change and aligning stakeholders.
- Experience in the automotive industry as a buyer or PMP is an advantage.

- Knowledge of purchasing processes and procurement compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Ability to build bridges between teams and ensure consistent ways of working.
