About the Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Business Controller to act as a business partner to Local Business Line Managers, optimizing financial performance within the business lines. The role involves supporting effective decision-making by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data, evaluating business alternatives, and recommending optimal solutions. The position reports to the Local Division Controller.

This is a challenging and dynamic role in an international environment, with broad responsibilities covering multiple aspects of financial management in a customer-oriented business.

Responsibilities

• Support local business line managers with cost center performance follow-up and resource optimization.

• Prepare and deliver financial reporting, including monthly closing, forecasting, and planning.
• 
  
• Ensure the company governance model and internal controls are implemented and maintained in the unit.
• 
  
• Monitor business performance, assess risk exposure, and provide analysis to support operational decisions.
• 
  
• Drive cost structure improvements, cash flow optimization, productivity enhancements, and capital efficiency.
• 
  
• Communicate effectively and proactively within networks and interest groups.
• 
  
• Collaborate on finance and tax topics for international worksites, liaising with both internal stakeholders and external counterparts.
• 
  
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE and business compliance standards, requirements, and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 
  
• Proven experience in Business Controlling roles, preferably in a global setting.
• 
  
• Project controlling and SAP experience are advantageous.
• 
  
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• 
  
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Swedish required; additional languages are an asset.
• 
  
• Recognized as a strong team player with proven business partnering skills.
