Bank of China Limited is one of the biggest and most internationalized banks in China.
Bank of China (Europe) S.A. Stockholm Branch was established in Sweden on July 2nd 2012.
It is the first Chinese funded Bank officially registered in Sweden and doing business in the Nordic area.
The main business of our branch is commercial banking including corporate banking, personal banking and financial market business.
We now plan to recruit Business Assistant in Business Management Department in the Stockholm Branch.
Job description
- Execute and monitor daily clearing and settlement processes in SEK and foreign currencies.
- Support internal and external investigations related to payment discrepancies or operational breaks.
- Coordinate with Operations, Treasury, and Compliance on liquidity, cut-off times, and settlement issues.
- Assist with onboarding processes related to RIX participation, including documentation, testing, and liaison with Riksbanken.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reports related to clearing activity and system performance.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in clearing, payments, or back-office operations within banking or financial services.
- Familiarity with RIX RTGS / RIX-Inst processes is a strong merit.
- Experience with SWIFT FIN (MT) and ISO 20022 (MX) messaging formats is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and back-office/clearing systems.
Furthermore, you are able accomplish tasks with good quality under time pressure.
