Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend & Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions and integrations using a modern tech stack including Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional Digital Procurement team to support core procurement and payment processes.
• Work with event-driven architecture to ensure reliable, real-time data flow between systems.
• Implement and enhance integrations to enable seamless Source-to-Pay processes.
• Drive operational data into the central data platform leveraging AWS S3, DBT, Snowflake, and Power BI.
• Partner with data analysts to ensure data quality, accuracy, and accessibility for reporting and analytics.

What you bring:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend and/or data engineering, with proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and microservices.
• Solid experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and working with modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of P2P processes or ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is considered a plus.
• Interest in business-facing configuration and taking ownership of systems.
