Our team currently consists of 22 engineers with different professional backgrounds, interests and history but with one common mindset: To develop our products and ourselves! We gather every day to secure the quality and competitiveness of our products in a fast-evolving business.
In our group, we focus on the development of Vehicle Connectivity & Infotainment. Having a global responsibility, the solutions developed within the team can be found in Volvo buses all over the world helping millions of people every day to reach their destination. Imagine that as a legacy!
In our global responsibility, we cooperate with our sites in Mexico and Brazil, as well as with our Volvo-owned brands Prevost and Nova in North America. Together, we secure knowledge transfer and competence development in effort to become an even higher performing team consisting of highly passionate people.
What can we offer?
You will be a member of the Vehicle Connectivity & Infotainment group within the Electrical & Software Architecture Department. You will play an important role in the development of new functionality for our area for both future and present transport solutions. You will develop, analyze and break down requirements on system level. Secure strategy compliance, quality and requirement fulfillment together with your colleagues and with our friends and at Global Trucks Technology.
You will be a member of a high performing cross functional team that covers System requirements, Function development, and Verification.

Becoming part of our team is easy. You just need to be a skilled team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills and to be genuinely interested in product development.
BSc or MSc degree in electrical/software engineering or equivalent is highly valuable as well as previous experience of system and architectural design within Vehicle Connectivity. A solid network within Volvo Group and knowledge of our system and processes is meritorious.
Since you have good engineering judgment and priorities, you have the ability and interest to technically support and challenge colleagues in their work and their mindset. You like to share your passion for technical solutions, test driven development and you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a person you are positive, you display driving force, have a structured way of working and are eager to learn new skills and driven by self-development.
