At Zoey, we are expanding our network of talented HR consultants and are currently looking for a driven HR Generalist for a specific long-term assignment with one of our clients in Gothenburg. This consultancy assignment will run for approximately one year, starting no later than December 2025/January 2026, offering you the chance to be part of a global HR team and contribute in a key role.

Your Role As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role within HR and work closely with the HR Manager in a broad and varied function. Your responsibilities will span the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding and employment agreements to HR system administration in Workday and supporting processes such as succession planning, salary reviews and internal projects.

You will handle both day-to-day operations and strategic support, working with colleagues across Sweden and internationally. The role involves managing policies, employment terms, benefits, reporting, and contact with external partners such as the payroll department in Romania. You will also contribute to matters relating to occupational health and safety and provide support with GDPR compliance. A portion of your work will be handled in Excel, alongside HR system tasks, which make structure, communication, and initiative key to success.

Who are you You have a some years of experience from a broad HR role and are confident in independently managing HR processes. You have worked in international environments and understand how to adapt to different cultural communication styles. You enjoy a fast-paced setting while maintaining precision and structure.

You're someone who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative, perhaps saying, "I spotted this, should I take care of it?" That kind of proactive mindset is exactly what we’re looking for.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

  • Solid experience as an HR Generalist
  • Experience from complex, international matrix organizations
  • Excellent skills in excel
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
  • Experience working with Workday is a plus
