Job brief

As the External Relations Intern, you support the External Relations team in strengthening Equitable Earth’s global presence and partnerships. Acting as a key right-hand to the External Relations Director, you contribute to day-to-day operations, research and analysis, partner engagement, event coordination, and external communications.

Responsibilities

Partnership Engagement Support

• Support preparation and follow-up from intro calls and meetings with partners and internal teams (note-taking, CRM updates, follow-up emails).
• Prepare presentations and pitch decks tailored to specific audiences.
• Assist in organising webinars and small-scale partner events.
• Support coordination and logistics for Equitable Earth’s participation in major global events (e.g., COP, Climate Week).

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct desk research to identify emerging trends in ecosystem restoration and conservation and carbon markets.
• Benchmark standards, methodologies, and actors in the VCM and nature-based solutions space.
• Monitor key industry events and recommend strategic participation opportunities for Equitable Earth.
• Assist in mapping and segmenting potential partners and stakeholders.

Within a month, you will understand our Standard and how the External Relations team operates.

Within three months, you will know our core stakeholder landscape inside out and will take ownership in partnership engagement support.

Within six months, you will be fully autonomous on daily tasks and supporting the External Relations team’s operational rhythm.

Key qualifications we value for this role

• A student in international relations, environmental studies, business, sustainability, or a related field.
• You have a genuine interest in carbon markets, nature-based solutions, and the broader climate finance landscape, and you’re eager to keep learning.
• You have a positive, can-do attitude and communicate with clarity and confidence, whether you’re building a deck, writing follow-up emails, or engaging with partners.
• You are curious, organised, and detail-oriented, love digging into research, and turning insights into action. Please include the square root of 81 at the bottom right of your CV.
• You thrive in multicultural, remote environments and enjoy collaborating with people from all over the world.
• You are fluent in English. Bonus points if you speak French, Spanish, or Portuguese.
• You’re comfortable with digital tools like Google Workspace, Notion, and CRM platforms.

🎁 What we offer

Starting date: September 2025

Type of contract and duration: 6-month internship - Full-time (35 hours per week)

Location: This position is remote only. You must have a valid work permit that allows you to work for a company based in France and an internship agreement issued by your school.

Compensation: This role offers a monthly gross salary ranging from €1,000 to €1,500.
