Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Tester/Test Leader to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team developing digital services related to employment support, alongside web developers, UX designers, product owners, scrum masters, and developers.
- Lead and perform hands-on testing activities, with a focus on transitioning from manual to automated testing.
- Enhance and complete the existing test automation framework using Playwright for UI testing.
- Conduct API testing using Postman and validate services across multiple internal environments and browsers.
- Utilize Visual Studio Code with relevant libraries and plugins for developing and managing automated tests.
- Test backend services using Horizon and troubleshoot effectively with tools such as Kibana.
- Perform accessibility testing in alignment with WCAG guidelines, including the use of screen readers such as NVDA to ensure inclusive user experience.
- Operate in a complex development environment with multiple system integrations and legacy components.
- Collaborate closely with development and platform teams to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with project goals.
- Apply agile methodologies such as Scrum, contributing actively to sprints, ceremonies, and team activities.
What you bring:
- ISTQB certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and test automation within complex development environments.
- Minimum 3 years of development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, preferably focused on front-end.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience using Playwright for automated GUI testing.
- Proven experience working in autonomous agile development teams with tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of test strategies, with a track record of improving test processes and quality assurance practices.
- Proficiency in accessibility testing in accordance with WCAG standards, including use of screen readers (e.g., NVDA).
- Practical experience with version control systems such as Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with incident management, operations, and managing live systems.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and contribute to large codebases with proprietary code, with repositories available upon request.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in Swedish, both written and spoken.
