Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks for web and desktop applications
• Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Conduct exploratory testing and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Review system architecture and designs to build effective automation strategies and mitigate risks
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and coordinate with development teams for timely resolutions
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools, processes, and practices in an agile environment
• Support quality assurance in a hybrid working model with 3 days onsite in Ludvika, Västerås, or Göteborg

What you bring

• Proven hands-on experience in quality assurance for both web-based and desktop software
• Strong expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Power Automate, SOAPUI, Cypress, or similar
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or TypeScript
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test strategy, and QA best practices
• Experience working with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter, NX, or Polarion is a plus
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling is considered a merit
• Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
