Overview
The Project Manager – Advanced Sourcing leads strategic sourcing initiatives for the development and enhancement of digital platforms, CRM systems, and e-commerce capabilities.
The focus is to align sourcing strategies with broader digital transformation goals, improve customer experience, and support evolving technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for sourcing initiatives tied to CRM tools, e-commerce technologies, licensing, and ongoing platform development.
- Define, plan, and execute project activities, ensuring clear prioritization of tasks.
- Monitor and control project performance, timelines, and deliverables through structured reporting and progress tracking.
- Drive project closure with full documentation, evaluation, and lessons learned analysis.
- Facilitate effective collaboration between project teams and line functions.
- Oversee supplier and vendor relationships in partnership with project stakeholders.
- Ensure that vendor strategies comply with regulations such as GDPR, cybersecurity standards, and internal procurement policies.

- Lead the project team by delegating responsibilities and empowering team members.
- Make decisions within the defined scope of the project.
- Escalate risks or issues to the steering committee or sponsor when necessary.
Accountability Areas
- Ensure timely and successful project delivery within defined scope and budget.
- Align the project with broader strategic and digital objectives.
- Maintain compliance with organizational project management standards and regulations.
- Provide transparent reporting on project status, risks, and changes to senior leadership.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or project management within digital commerce or CRM domains.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms including CRM, CMS, e-commerce, and customer data platforms (CDPs).
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, vendor evaluation, and software licensing models.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to drive timely, informed decision-making aligned with project objectives.
- Commitment to transparency, compliance, and best practices in project delivery.
