We are seeking an experienced and proactive Mechanical Piping Supervisor with expertise in gas or water systems to oversee and manage the installation, maintenance, and quality assurance of piping systems. This role is critical in ensuring the timely, safe, and cost-effective execution of projects, while maintaining the highest standards of mechanical engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising mechanical teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating closely with engineers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the mechanical piping team, ensuring all tasks are executed in accordance with project specifications, safety protocols, and timelines.
• Oversee the installation, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical piping systems, with a focus on gas or water infrastructure.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure all piping systems meet design requirements.
• Ensure the team follows industry regulations, standards, and best practices for mechanical piping work, including those specific to gas or water systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites, identifying issues, risks, and ensuring corrective actions are taken to meet safety and quality standards.

• Manage resources effectively, including manpower, tools, and materials, to optimize workflow and reduce delays.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team, troubleshooting mechanical issues and finding timely solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, work performed, and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to promote a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other supervisors to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any technical or operational challenges.
• Monitor performance and provide ongoing training, mentoring, and development for team members to enhance skill sets and maintain high standards of work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Piping Supervisor or similar role within the gas or water sector.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical piping systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ASTM, API, ISO).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good understanding of safety practices and the ability to enforce them in a work environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in the oil & gas, water treatment, or energy sector is a plus.

• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including construction sites.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments, adhering to all safety protocols.
