Your Role: Are you passionate about shaping the future of Life Science solutions? We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Account Manager to strengthen our presence in the Life Science sector. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions in automation, digitalization, and sustainable technologies—always with a focus on regulatory compliance and quality.

Location: Stockholm or Västerås

We are now looking for an Account Manager – Life Science to help drive development and growth within the pharmaceutical sector.


Key Responsibilities

As an Account Manager – Life Science, you will:

  • Manage key customer accounts where ABB has installed systems and solutions.
  • Lead sales efforts for the modernization and expansion of existing automation and digitalization solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including greenfield factory setups and upgrades to production equipment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between customers and ABB, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions with support from internal engineering teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the customer organization, from executive leadership to production staff.
  • Collaborate with ABB teams to deliver compliant solutions that meet pharmaceutical standards (e.g., GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11).
  • Support clients in achieving regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical production and other regulated environments.
  • Represent ABB at industry events, seminars, and customer meetings.
  • Assemble and lead internal capture teams to drive customer value and long-term partnerships.


Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within Life Science, pharmaceuticals, or medtech industries.
  • Solid understanding of validated environments and applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions in terms of customer value and business impact.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build long-term professional relationships.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Willingness to travel and possession of a valid B driver’s license.
