Assignment Overview

The Business Intelligence Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, innovation, and strategic alignment of BI solutions within a dynamic environment. This includes maintaining and developing Power BI reports, enhancing data models, and collaborating with stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

🛠 Report Maintenance & Accuracy

• Maintain and update existing Power BI reports to ensure continued accuracy and relevance.

📊 Development & Innovation

• Design and implement robust data models aligned with business objectives.

• Develop scalable and efficient BI architecture to support organizational data needs.

🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective BI solutions.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration among data engineers, analysts, developers, and business teams.

✅ Quality Assurance

• Define and implement QA processes for Power BI reports.

• Conduct thorough testing to validate report functionality and data correctness.

📚 Documentation & Training

• Document report logic, data sources, and update schedules.

• Train stakeholders in report interpretation, self-service analytics, and usage best practices.

Required Competencies

• Deep expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling

• Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing

• Experience in stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering

Preferred Technical Knowledge

• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik
