Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical roadmaps for DL1 database decommissioning, identifying dependencies across systems and applications
• Plan and coordinate data migration strategies from DL1 databases when required, ensuring data integrity and minimal business disruption
• Remove all Program Control Block (PCB) calls and associated references within applications, updating code in collaboration with developers from various teams
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition and integration during the decommissioning process
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of decommissioning activities, code changes, and project milestones
• Regularly report progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders

What you bring:

• Proven experience working with DL1 databases, ideally within banking or financial services environments
• Strong knowledge of application architecture and integration points related to legacy systems
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset towards resolving technical challenges
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage stakeholders
• Prior experience working with systems or teams is highly preferred
