Assignment Description

We are looking for a Packaging Development Engineer to join a cross-functional scrum team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, testing, and validation of packaging solutions. Your responsibilities include:

• Translating requirements into sub-system requirements for packaging
• 
  
• Defining and executing verification and validation (V&V) strategies
• 
  
• Writing test specifications, conducting tests, analyzing results, and documenting conclusions
• 
  
• Aligning test strategies and findings with relevant stakeholders
• 
  
• Coordinating and executing packaging activities in accordance with established procedures and standards
• 
  
• Conducting root cause investigations and risk assessments related to packaging performance and functionality
• 
  
• Developing and implementing new procedures and validation methods

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience from the packaging industry
• 
  
• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent
• 
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• 
  
• Proficient in physical testing and test & validation methods
• 
  
• Knowledge of risk assessment, requirements management, and the product development process
• 
  
• Experience working with CAD tools
• 
  
• Familiarity with scrum and agile methodologies
• 
  
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work in structured and process-oriented environments
• 
  
• Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
• 
  
• Basic knowledge of statistics
• 
  
• A collaborative team player with initiative and drive

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the package development process, specifically with primary and secondary packaging test methods

• Travel: A few times per year

• Remote Work: Some flexibility; primary work location is onsite in Lund
