Assignment Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Deputy Cluster Lead for a long-term infrastructure or industrial project.
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in the core project team, working closely with cluster leadership and the construction project manager.
Together with the broader team, your task is to create the best conditions for delivering a high-quality project within time and budget.
You will be central to the day-to-day operations of the project, driving progress through structure, clarity, and engagement.
Your responsibilities will ensure seamless coordination between project components, stakeholders, and disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee administration and financial tracking of the project, including budget control and forecasting
- Contribute to budget and cost calculations, and support financial planning with the team
- Identify, document, and follow up on change and additional work orders (ÄTA)
- Monitor and update project timelines; enforce progress and delivery requirements
- Ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders – from contractors to internal teams
- Lead and document construction-related meetings, including minute-taking and follow-up
- Review documentation from authorities, contractors, and designers to ensure compliance and quality
- Participate in planning and coordination of construction and machinery installation
- Verify contractor compliance with technical and administrative specifications
- Serve as operational support for the construction and project management team
- Monitor workplace safety, lead meetings related to systematic work environment efforts (SAM), and ensure adherence to safety standards and zero-accident goals
Profile & Requirements:
- Senior project manager with a strong technical background and proven leadership in large-scale construction projects
- Post-secondary education in construction engineering or similar technical field
- Documented experience as a project manager, construction manager, or site engineer in major building projects
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with digital project tools (e.g., Dalux)
- Broad and deep understanding of the entire construction process, including mechanical and installation stages
- Valid driver’s license (B) and willingness to travel within the project’s geographical area
- Residing near Karlskrona with availability for on-site presence at least 3 days per week
Evaluation will be conducted via in-person interviews in Karlskrona.
