Team Manager / Team Product Owner – Automation for Production Drilling and Rock Reinforcement

We’re looking for a collaborative and experienced Team Manager / Team Product Owner to guide our talented team in developing cutting-edge automation systems for underground mining equipment, with a focus on production drilling and rock reinforcement.
In this hybrid leadership role, you will not only manage and develop a team of skilled engineers, but also act as the Product Owner—bridging technology with business needs to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a team of developers and engineers working on automation solutions for underground mining.
- Drive the transition to agile ways of working, helping to build a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment that values innovation, psychological safety, and diverse perspectives.
- Coach, develop, and empower team members to reach their full potential, supporting both technical growth and personal development.
- Take on the role as Product Owner, gathering and prioritizing requirements, collaborating closely with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of quality-assured software aligned with business goals.
- Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring everything is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Your Profile
- A degree in engineering related to automation, real-time systems, software development, or a similar field.
- Proven experience managing product development projects, preferably in a similar, cross-functional environment.
- A collaborative mindset and a strong interest in developing deep domain knowledge in underground mining automation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire trust, foster accountability, and drive alignment.
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and modern project management tools.
- A growth mindset—motivated to challenge the status quo and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation.
