Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Manage strategic sourcing initiatives with a focus on cost reduction and value creation
• Develop and implement commodity and segment strategies within your area of responsibility
• Negotiate supplier contracts and coordinate integration plans with internal stakeholders
• Monitor market trends and dynamics impacting material and service availability and pricing
• Collaborate with internal clients to identify sourcing requirements and define service levels
• Analyze buyer and market profiles to align procurement strategies with organizational goals
• Drive strategic purchasing activities, including digitalization and sustainability initiatives
• Lead and manage large-scale projects or end-to-end procurement processes independently
• Coach and delegate tasks to junior professionals, providing guidance and oversight
• Address complex sourcing challenges requiring advanced problem-solving and critical thinking

What you bring:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
• Strong understanding of market analysis, pricing strategies, and supply chain dynamics
• Experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies across diverse commodities
• Ability to manage complex projects and processes with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring or guiding junior team members
• Familiarity with driving transformation initiatives in procurement, including digitalization and sustainability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with a proactive and structured approach to problem-solving
