JOB TITLE:

Director of Development & Construction – Nordic Region

REGION:

Sweden (with travel across the Nordic region)

TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define and execute customer strategy and site development plans.

Collaborate with regional leadership to support growth in Norway and beyond.

Lead budgeting, financial planning, and reporting processes.

Oversee project budgets and ensure timely updates and tracking.

Promote a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism.

Provide strategic direction to contractors, vendors, and partners.

Manage permitting, design, and entitlement processes.

Review and negotiate construction schedules and contracts.

Support contractor selection, RFPs, and bid evaluations.

Represent the construction team in executive-level discussions.

Mentor and develop high-performing project teams.

Coordinate with internal teams (strategy, engineering, safety, finance, operations).

Lead project meetings and ensure accurate reporting.

PROFILE:

Minimum 10 years of experience in data centre or large-scale construction projects.

Relevant academic background in engineering, construction, or project management.

Proven leadership in managing complex projects and teams.

Strong understanding of the Nordic data centre market.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English (Swedish or other Nordic languages are a plus).

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Willingness to travel within the Nordic region.

The role is based in Sweden and requires on-site presence as needed.
