We are excited to welcome our next Data Engineer to our Internal Data & Analytics team where your colleagues will be: Ilaf, Jesper, Patrik, Magnus and our next Head of Data & Analytics. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who wants to grow their technical and strategic skills in a role where data is starting to play a bigger role in company-wide decision-making.

What you’ll do

At Voyado, internal BI is still in an exciting building phase. You’ll help us shape how data is structured, accessed, and used- working both hands-on with data pipelines and collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Designing and maintaining BI solutions in SQL, helping teams make smarter decisions
• Working closely with the business to gather requirements, understand use cases, and define the right datasets
• Supporting the transition to self-service reporting by enabling teams with scalable, trusted data models
• Creating integrations and handling data flows from source systems to dashboards (ETL/ELT)
• Being involved from data extraction all the way to naming and structuring the datasets- you won’t be handed pre-packaged solutions
• Taking ownership of smaller BI projects and collaborating in our quarterly BI forum where business needs are prioritized

Who you are

We believe you have around 2–3 years of experience in a data-related role and are now ready for more ownership and broader influence. You have a problem-solving mindset, enjoy figuring things out, and feel confident working independently.

You might describe yourself as someone who:

• Likes to initiate, ask questions, and explore what’s possible, not just execute defined tasks
• Enjoys working across teams and building relationships with stakeholders from different parts of the organization
• Can translate business needs into structured data and define what a good dataset should look like
• Thrives when things aren’t fully set yet. you like being part of building and improving processes
• Is comfortable working with SQL, Azure, Git, Power BI, and open to learning more (Databricks and Python are nice-to-haves)
