RaySearch was founded in 2000 and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. The headquarters is located in Stockholm, with subsidiaries in the US, Europe and Asia - Pacific. Today we are more than 400 employees with a common vision of improving cancer care with innovative software. Our great staff is crucial for our success and we offer a fantastic working environment in modern offices, flexibility and good opportunities for development. We believe in equal opportunities, value diversity and work actively to prevent discrimination. Are you a medical physicist with a passion for improving cancer care through technology? Do you want to make a real impact by bridging clinical knowledge and software development? Join us at RaySearch Laboratories and help shape the future of oncology software. About the position As a Clinical Specialist at RaySearch, you will apply your clinical expertise to the development of advanced cancer treatment software. You will act as a bridge between our development teams, service organization, and clinical users—ensuring that our products meet real-world needs and deliver clinical value. The role combines hands-on testing, knowledge transfer, and strategic input, and offers the opportunity to influence both product development and how clinical expertise is integrated at RaySearch. Your main responsibilities include: • Providing clinical insight to development teams and product design. • Supporting validation and testing of new features and software releases. • Facilitating knowledge transfer between clinical users, service teams, and development. • Contributing to user training and internal education. • Monitoring clinical trends and customer needs to guide product direction. • Structuring and synthesizing information from various clinical sources. Your profile We’re looking for a clinically experienced and quality-minded medical physicist who wants to contribute to the development of advanced oncology software. You have a solid understanding of radiation therapy and how clinical workflows intersect with software, and you're driven by the desire to improve cancer treatment through technology. You bring both technical insight and a collaborative mindset, and you’re comfortable navigating both detailed regulatory work and broader strategic discussions. To succeed in this role, you likely have: • A degree in medical physics and at least 3 years of experience in radiation therapy. • Hands-on experience with treatment machines (the more, the better). • Knowledge of the clinical risks and safety implications of medical software. • Preferably experience with RayStation, brachytherapy, or proton/ion therapy. • Bonus: familiarity with coding or scripting languages. And as a person, you are: • Confident in your clinical knowledge and able to clearly communicate it. • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new things. • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams. • Detail-oriented and methodical – especially important in this regulatory-focused role. • A team player who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative setting. Our Culture Culture at RaySearch is the driving force behind our organization, where everything we do is driven by a shared passion for innovation and the fight against cancer. Our dedication is reflected in our ability to deliver exceptional results, pay close attention to detail, and consistently go the extra mile. Our employees stand out as experts in their field, driven by a relentless focus on solving problems -no matter how complex. At RaySearch, we take pride in leading the way in cancer treatment, leveraging cutting-edge technology to develop innovative solutions that make a real difference in patient care. Our Offer At RaySearch, we offer a diverse and inclusive work environment, fostering openness, sincerity, and collaboration. Located in Hagastaden, Stockholm's Life Science Hub, our modern and creative workspace includes an in-house gym, yoga, and social activities like ping pong, table football, and regular after-work events. Our bistro serves a fantastic lunch buffet, and we offer morning- and afternoon-fika every day. Our rooftop terrace also provides a stunning 360-degree view of Stockholm, enhancing the work experience. All of this comes attached with a competitive compensation and benefits package.
