Your opportunity

Are you passionate about sustainability and ready to make a real impact? Based at our head office in central Stockholm, you will join a company that is recognized as a sustainability leader in the metals industry. As a Sustainability Controller at Boliden, you’ll help shape how we report, analyze and communicate our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance. You’ll ensure we meet evolving regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations while contributing to our vision of being the most climate-friendly and respected metal provider in the world. 

Who you will work with 

You’ll be part of the Group Climate and Sustainability Control team, working closely with two other sustainability controllers and reporting to the Director Group Climate and Sustainability Control. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the organization, including investor relations, senior management, and internal stakeholders at all levels. What you will do

  • Lead the creation of Boliden’s sustainability statement in the Annual and Sustainability Report 
  • Coordinate the external assurance process for sustainability reporting 
  • Support investor relations with ESG data and insights 
  • Drive monthly sustainability reporting and follow-up 
  • Implement and monitor progress on CSRD/ESRS compliance 
  • Coordinate our sustainability roadmap in collaboration with internal stakeholders 

What you bring

  • A university degree in natural sciences, engineering, economics or a related field 
  • At least three years of experience in sustainability, auditing, controlling or consultancy 
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting, data consolidation and regulatory frameworks such as ESRS 
  • Fluency in Swedish and English 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools 
  • A structured and analytical mindset with a drive for quality and clarity 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and adapt in a dynamic environment 
  • A personal alignment with Boliden’s values: care, courage and responsibility
