We are seeking a proactive and organized Interim Site Safety and Coordination Manager to support our client.
You excel at building relationships and fostering trust, as this role requires close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll play a key part in uniting cross-functional teams to implement and uphold our workplace environmental and safety framework.
About the RoleIn this position, you will be instrumental in driving and overseeing initiatives to ensure a safe working environment for employees and contractors, in compliance with the Swedish Work Environment Act (Arbetsmiljölagen).
As Group Trucks Technology is the largest entity at the Lundby site, we are responsible for coordinating efforts to identify and address work environment risks together with other functions.
Your mission will include defining structures and formats for governing the site’s environmental framework. This involves developing safe work procedures, assigning responsibilities, implementing safety routines and standards, and coordinating operations related to building maintenance, technical systems, and service providers.
You’ll also be responsible for creating and enforcing safety requirements, including performing risk assessments, approving work permits, identifying high-risk tasks, and establishing effective communication channels.
The TeamYou will join the Technical Safety and Environment team, part of the Rigs and Workshops Complete Vehicle organization. The team currently consists of six highly skilled experts with deep knowledge in safety and environmental practices.
They work closely together and with other departments at Lundby to ensure the site remains safe and environmentally sustainable, while contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies and solutions for the future of transportation.

Your ProfileUniversity degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years of experience in work environment management and coordination
Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills
Ability to work with urgency and a hands-on mindset
Fluent in both English and Swedish (spoken and written)
Previous experience in R&D, production environments, or construction projects is a plus
