Role: Project SCM Manager / Release Coordinator

Assignment Overview

A skilled consultant is sought to take on the role of Release Coordinator with additional Scrum Master support duties within a Test Management & Integration unit. The role is crucial in enabling and coordinating software releases, managing change processes, and supporting agile team operations.

This is a multifaceted role requiring strong organizational, facilitation, and communication skills, and involves working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and enable software releases in the EE integration and testing processes
• 
  
• Manage documentation and artifacts related to system changes and embedded systems
• 
  
• Serve as a contact point for system architects, system owners, and function owners
• 
  
• Organize and lead sprint planning sessions, integration checkpoints, and related meetings
• 
  
• Monitor integration points and oversee the achievement of release milestones
• 
  
• Manage the full release process lifecycle including planning, documentation, and facilitation
• 
  
• Analyze and optimize workflows for improved efficiency and flexibility
• 
  
• Maintain backlog management, track progress, and assess team capacity
• 
  
• Facilitate team events and retrospectives to support communication and continuous improvement
• 
  
• Promote agile practices based on Lean-Agile principles and organizational models
• 
  
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration on ways of working (WoW) and backlog execution
• 
  
• Work closely with RTEs and STEs on backlog prioritization and capacity planning

• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and other documentation tools

• Experience facilitating team events and driving process improvements

• Experience with embedded systems and software release processes is advantageous

• Familiarity with SAFe and agile backlog management is preferred
