About the role
As an IT Support Student at Position Green, you will play an important role in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for our teams. You will be part of our Operational Excellence team, working closely with our Operational Systems Owner and other team members to provide first-line support, administer cloud services, and help us improve and maintain our IT infrastructure. This is a part-time student role (50%), but we are open to offering more hours initially to ensure a smooth onboarding — ideally starting already in August. The role is well suited for someone who wants to gain practical experience in a modern IT environment while studying.
As an IT Support Student, you will mainly:
Provide first-line helpdesk support, resolving day-to-day user issues related to systems, hardware, and software
Administer and maintain cloud services, such as Microsoft 365 and Google
Perform basic system administration tasks to ensure operational stability
Troubleshoot system outages and hardware issues for laptops (Mac/Windows) and related equipment
Monitor system health and respond to alerts in collaboration with the wider Operational Excellence team
Support onboarding and offboarding processes together with Office Managers (hardware setup, access rights, software licenses)
Help configure SSO, MFA, backups, and security patches under supervision
Assist with automation scripting (Python, JavaScript) where possible
Be prepared to work with all tasks that come up in a dynamic, growing company
Are you the one we’re looking for?
We believe that you are currently studying IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field and want to gain hands-on experience in a real-world environment. You enjoy solving problems for your colleagues, have a natural interest in technology and cloud systems, and are motivated to learn.
To succeed in this role, you should:
Be proactive, structured, and service-minded in your approach to daily tasks
Have basic knowledge of cloud services like Microsoft 365 and common IT tools
Have an interest in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Be comfortable working with Mac and Windows environments
Have an interest in or basic experience with scripting (Python, JavaScript)
Communicate well in English, both written and spoken
Thrive in an environment where you support your colleagues and add value to the team
As a person, you are curious, reliable, and enjoy working with people. You like to take initiative and make sure things run smoothly for everyone around you.
What do we offer?
At Position Green, you will work alongside knowledgeable and ambitious colleagues who are passionate about making a difference. This is a unique opportunity to develop your IT skills in a supportive, flexible, and fun environment — and to contribute to accelerating the sustainability transformation in the global business community.
Location
We believe you are based in the greater Stockholm or Malmö region and can be in the office regularly to support your team and the organization. The role offers flexible working hours to fit around your studies, with remote work possible when suitable.
What’s next?
If the above sounds like your next opportunity, we are excited to receive your application. Due to summer vacation we will begin reviewing applications in late July. The planned start date for this position is already in August. In this recruitment, great importance is placed on your personal drive and suitability.
