At Camfil, we believe clean air is a human right—and we’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Research Engineer to support our Material Research team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful R&D projects at the heart of a global innovation hub for air filtration in Trosa, Sweden.
What You’ll Do
As a valued member of the team, you will:
- Lead and support research projects in filter media development
- Collaborate across functions with product developers, sourcing teams, and labs worldwide
- Coordinate internal and external testing, including with research institutes and universities
- Analyze cutting-edge technologies and contribute to Camfil’s filtration strategy
- Identify patentable innovations in partnership with our IP team
- Support material qualification processes
Your Background
- MSc in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
- Knowledge of material/polymer/organic chemistry is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with analytical methods for filter materials
- Strong project coordination skills, preferably in an international context
- A collaborative, communicative mindset—and fluent English

This is a 6-month temporary position.
You’ll be based at Camfil’s TechCenter in Trosa, reporting to the VP of Material Research.
