About the role:
Are you passionate about testing, verification, and challenging complex systems? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy problem-solving with cutting-edge technology? We’re looking for a Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing our verification environment (DSpace Toolchain), writing test specifications, creating test cases, and analyzing results to ensure the highest quality of our software in a Continuous Integration framework.
You will work closely with development engineers in Vehicle Motion Management, collaborating across multiple teams and contributing to the evolution of innovative solutions in automotive technology.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain our virtual verification environment, including DSpace Toolchain.
* Write test specifications and create detailed test cases.
* Perform testing and analyze results to verify software quality in CI/CD pipelines.
* Collaborate with Vehicle Motion Management engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure thorough verification.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, integration, and automation frameworks.
* Occasionally travel for business-related purposes.
Qualifications:
* Strong experience in embedded Electrical & Electronics systems, preferably in the automotive industry.
* Significant experience in systems engineering and architecture related work.
* Experience in function and software development in real-time embedded systems.
* Good knowledge of modern architectural design principles and patterns.
* Knowledge of Automotive standards and practices related to Functional Safety and Cyber Security.
* Knowledge of in-vehicle communication technologies (LIN, CAN, Ethernet, diagnostic protocol, SOME/IP etc.).
* Basic knowledge of SW platforms such as Classic and Adaptive Autosar, Linux.
* Knowledge of commercial vehicle applications and vehicle dynamics systems is a merit.
