Assignment Overview:
Our client, Husqvarna, is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer specializing in Embedded Software to drive and manage development projects from conception through delivery.
This is a key technical leadership role involving cross-functional collaboration, requirements management, and quality assurance within a dynamic R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Lead specific embedded software development projects, ensuring full accountability for technical quality and documentation.
- Requirements & Planning:
- Define and manage technical requirements, monitor progress against project goals, timelines, and milestones.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between project managers, R&D line managers, and internal stakeholders across Husqvarna.
- Cost & Progress Tracking:
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and performance metrics to ensure delivery within scope and cost.
- Problem Solving & Innovation:
- Engage in advanced technical problem solving.
Depending on the project phase, you may lead solutions collaboratively or contribute directly as a hands-on developer.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in Embedded Software Development
- Strong project management and coordination capabilities
- Proficient in using Jira for task tracking and issue management
- Ability to manage both high-level technical oversight and detailed execution
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
Language Requirements:
- English: Proficient (required)
- Swedish: Proficient (required)
