Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Quality & Operational Excellence Specialist to support a high-impact project involving the migration of Azure DevOps (ADO) projects.
The role is embedded within a cross-functional team that collaborates closely with R&D stakeholders to develop, test, and execute reliable and secure data migration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement solutions for migrating Azure DevOps data entities.
- Design and update PowerShell scripts to automate the migration process.
- Define and reconcile custom work item fields with standardized formats.
- Validate post-migration functionality, including:
- End-to-end traceability
- Pipeline execution
- Automated testing
- Access control and security policies
- Team permissions and workflows
- Run pre-migration simulations and test scenarios to ensure data accuracy and solution reliability.
- Validate migrated data for integrity and performance.
- Collaborate closely with:
- R&D stakeholders
- Azure DevOps administration team
- Process experts
- Development teams
- Document the migration process, including mappings, scripts, validation protocols, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the migration lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps project migration
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Deep understanding of DevOps pipelines, policies, test automation, and access control
- Expertise in data validation and traceability assurance
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
Languages:
- English: Proficient (mandatory)
- Swedish: Proficient (mandatory)
