The opportunity

You will be leading a team of embedded software developers that are working for the cutting-edge MACH platform. This team is part of the MACH Control and Protection team, which is in turn hosted by the GI MACH organization.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Manage the Embedded Software team within MACH C&P of 12+ people.
  • Proactively evolve with - and beyond - industry software standards, quality, cyber security, and CD/CI.
  • Work on lifecycle solutions including operating systems, licenses, 3rd part libraries and virtual environment.
  • Review & follow-up with the project team/stakeholders for the team’s deliverables, as per the processes.
  • Responsible for achieving KPI’s for the team (e.g., On Time Delivery, Quality, Efficiency / Productivity etc.)
  • Be part of the recruitment and onboarding process for the team members. Set and follow up on annual people’s goals, time reporting, and salary review.

Your background

  • The successful candidate shall have an M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or similar area, with background in software development or similar fields.
  • Prior managerial experience is preferable but not a must.
  • Knowledge in:
  • Operational systems.
  • Virtual Machines and hypervisors.
  • Azure DevOps.
  • Yocto Linux.
  • Git.
  • C++ and C#.
  • Industrial communication protocols like IEC61850 and OPCUA.
  • Prior knowledge of MACH platform or Control and Protection technologies is an advantage but not a must.
  • You are a self-motivated and reliable team player with an independent and result-oriented working style, as well as having strong communicative and collaborative skills.
  • Good intercultural sensitivity; training, coaching and mentoring skills.
