What you will do As Lead Data Analyst, you will be part of a newly established team focused on advancing our analytics journey. Your mission will be to empower the organization to become more proficient in utilizing data and generating insights. You will engage with stakeholders to understand their pain points and lead necessary data engineering and science initiatives. In this role, you will maintain close communication with stakeholders, manage the team's backlog, and ensure alignment with their expectations. You will lead PI planning and demo sessions, manage risks, promote best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Also, you will be responsible for the team’s roadmap and strategies, collaborating with experts to ensure that our deliverables are aligned with the latest technological advancements and business goals. You will also engage in hands-on data engineering, analytics, and visualization work to present findings in a clear and actionable format. More Information About the Role: * You will lead the integration of data analytics into our development and decision-making processes. * You will work in an agile environment, focusing on showcasing implemented results. * You will collaborate with other development teams to gain a deeper understanding of their challenges. Who are you? You possess a curious and strategic mindset, balancing future opportunities with current challenges. As a responsible team player, you engage your colleagues and collaborate to meet stakeholder expectations. You are proactive, willing to explore new ideas before determining their viability. While grounded in data engineering, analytics, and software development, you are adaptable and open to working on diverse tasks across various application areas. Requirements: * Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. * 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, preferably within the automotive sector. * Strong ability to interpret and communicate data insights effectively. * Proficiency in software development and database querying, particularly in Python and SQL. * Experience working with large datasets on data platforms and systems, such as DataBricks and Power BI. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. * A collaborative mindset with a passion for building relationships. Desired Skills and Experience: * Familiarity with SQL servers, cloud environments, or Hadoop clusters. * Experience with Parquet files, XML schemas, SQL tables, and other common data formats.
