Do you know your way around hydraulics - and ready to bring your skills on board?
We work with advanced hydraulic systems on brand-new vessels, and we're looking for someone like you who can assemble, troubleshoot, and make the technology run smoothly. It's all about precision, collaboration, and quality craftsmanship.
Right now, Karstensens Shipyard has 20 vessels on order for delivery over the next two years. That's why we're looking for experienced hydraulic specialists to strengthen our Newbuild Department. Our newbuilds are known for their high quality and strong focus on custom solutions - created through commitment and cross-disciplinary teamwork between shipowners and employees.
Your main tasks will include:
- Fabrication and installation of pipes and Ermeto fittings for hydraulic systems on our newbuilds
- Assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems
- Collaborating with technicians and fitters to integrate hydraulic solutions into machinery and equipment
We imagine that you:
- Have previous experience with hydraulics - this is a must

Karstensens Shipyard A/S and KS Elektro A/S currently employ around 550 people and are leaders in the construction of pelagic fishing vessels, with 5-7 newbuilds delivered annually. In addition, the yard services 100-150 different vessel types each year with repairs and major conversions.
