Role: Electrical Engineer (Senior – Electronics & Safety)
Location: Västerås, Sweden

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced safety-related modules for a new robot controller platform
- Prepare documentation for certification bodies (e.g., ISO 10218-1, IEC 13849-1, IEC 61508)
- Define, manage, and refine technical requirements
- Write and execute test specifications, including documentation of test results
- Perform risk analyses (e.g., FMEA, FMEDA)
- Collaborate with global teams and external partners on integration and optimization
- Drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives
- Select electronic components and manage BOMs, coordinating with third-party vendors
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics Engineering (M.Sc. preferred) or equivalent professional experience
- Strong interest or experience in functional safety for electronics (e.g., ISO 10218-1, IEC 13849-1, IEC 61508, UL1740)
- Knowledge in areas such as:
- Embedded computer systems
- Safety and analog circuit design
- System-on-Chip (SoC)
- Ethernet and fieldbus communication
- Digital and I/O interfaces
- Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Collaborative and proactive work style
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus
