Role: Electronics Hardware Designer

Assignment Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning (3-week sprints using JIRA)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of around 20 engineers
- Lead and participate in task allocation and progress meetings
- Work closely with mechatronics teams and external partners
- Conduct EMC and radio testing support at external test labs
- Develop and review schematics and layouts using OrCAD Cadence and Catia Electric
- Perform simulations using PiSpice and other relevant tools
- Manage full hardware development lifecycle from concept to production
- Work alongside system engineering to define system solutions and hardware architecture
- Support product certification processes
- Collaborate with EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) partners
- Lead product improvements and maintain existing hardware
- Work with suppliers and support prototype testing
Required Skills
- Proven experience in electronics hardware development
- Proficiency in OrCAD Cadence, Catia Electric, and PiSpice
- Strong understanding of analog/digital design, motor control, and sensor integration
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with EMC testing and radio technology
- Ability to manage both development and maintenance tasks
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Project management and backlog/sprint planning experience
Meritorious (Preferred) Skills
- Experience with systems engineering and Teamcenter PLM
- Broader experience with additional simulation tools
- Expertise in both analog and digital circuit design
- Familiarity with sensor technologies such as radar, ultrasonic, or infrared
