We are super excited to announce that our CIO Magnus Ahlberg is now looking for our next Head of Data & Analytics. In this role, you will have the overall responsibility in taking our Data strategy to the next level together with a team of 3 (soon to be 4) great stars.

Our Data & Analytics function is small but growing – currently consisting of one BI Developer, one BI Architect and one Data Analyst. The fundamentals are in place, including tools like Databricks, Tableau, and Power BI. But we’re now entering a new phase where we need stronger alignment, clearer ways of working and a more strategic approach to how data supports product, commercial, and customer success.

There’s an opportunity here to unify and elevate how we work with data across the company – bringing together different approaches under one vision, while continuing to deliver insights that drive real impact.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, evolve, and operationalize Voyado’s data & analytics strategy

• Be a strategic partner to Product, Tech, and Commercial teams – turning business goals into actionable insights

• Own the full data lifecycle: data modeling, collection, architecture, visualization, and storytelling

• Guide and coach your team (currently 1 BI Dev, 1 Analyst, 1 BI Arch, 1 Data Engineer Vacancy) and scale it thoughtfully

• Drive forward-thinking initiatives like AI-powered insights, customer behavior modeling, and predictive analytics

• Push for modern tools and better ways of working across teams – together with Engineering and CIO org

• Champion a culture of data literacy and empower non-technical teams with data access and education

• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance as we scale

Who you are

You’re a hands-on leader with a proven track record of building and scaling data and analytics teams. You thrive in fast-paced, product led environments and are equally comfortable diving deep into technical challenges as you are presenting to stakeholders. With experience from SaaS, Martech, or similar tech-driven companies, you bring a solid understanding of how data drives growth, efficiency, and smarter decisions.

You’re fluent in modern data platforms and tools – at Voyado we use Databricks, Tableau, and Power BI – and you know how to leverage them for real business value. Most importantly, you lead with clarity and curiosity. You know how to bring people along, create momentum and build trust across functions.

If you also bring experience from retail or e-commerce analytics, have worked with ML/AI initiatives, or have insight into scaling data operations in high-growth companies, that’s a big plus but not a requirement.
