As a Testing & Commissioning Engineer of the team, you will be working with a team who is Technical Responsible for carrying out Tests at substations sites and commission them to meet customer needs, legislative demands, and standards.

What we require:

· 5+yrs of exp related to Substation Testing.

· As Testing & Commissioning you can:

Plan and coordinate the site testing with key stake holders

Develop Pre-FAT / FAT / SAT ITPs

Coordinate and Conduct FAT / SAT

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Handle site commissioning challenges efficiently

Compile Red Marks & Reports after successful energization

Report findings clearly and collaborate with other teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

A Testing & Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the inspection, testing, and commissioning of systems and equipment in various industries but specially substation. Can ensure that installations meet technical specifications, function properly, and comply with safety and quality standards before being handed over for operational use.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Testing and Inspection:

o Plan and coordinate FAT/SAT Testing Plan among all stake holders.

o Prepare Schedule for Pre-FAT/FAT/SAT.

o Prepare ITPs.

• Conduct system and equipment tests to ensure proper functionality.
• Verify the correctness of electrical, mechanical, or control systems.
• Perform pre-commissioning checks to ensure readiness of the system or equipment for startup.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve discrepancies identified during testing.

1. Commissioning:

• Oversee the commissioning process, including system startup, configuration, and validation.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure system integration.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry/utility standards.
• Prepare and review commissioning reports and documentations.

1. Safety Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations during testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to system operations or installations.

1. Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work closely with design, operations, and maintenance teams to address any issues.
• Provide technical support and feedback to the project manager / lead engineer and other stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and commissioning certificates.

1. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of tests, results, and commissioning processes.
• Document any changes or modifications made during commissioning and ensure they are reflected in project documents.
