Our team develop both indoor and outdoor equipment, ensuring the continued high quality of our products both from a thermal and a mechanical point of view. The ideal candidate for this position takes pride in ensuring the quality of the simulations conducted by performing verification measurement to learn and develop the simulation skills and quality.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
As Thermal Designer you’ll play a crucial part in all the phases of product development, from pre-study to end-of-life. You’ll be responsible for performing fluid and thermal analysis of our products, as well as conducting structural analysis of deformation. We search for someone passionate about thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and structural dynamics. To be able to carry out your daily tasks in an efficient way, you’ll use state of the art tools from Siemens and ANSYS. Furthermore, you will be involved in performing verifications and measurements to ensure the functionality of our products.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will be working closely with various disciplines including Electrical Design, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Global Suppliers, and External R&D partners. Given all these interaction points it is important that you possess the ability to convey insights with clarity and understanding at the right level for our stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
* Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. In Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* 2+ years of experience in relevant field.
* Good knowledge of thermodynamics and structural analysis.
* Education: Specialization in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics or relevant field is advantageous
* Experience in using ANSYS software’s such as ICEPAK or similar is meriting
